Rescue is urgent. Restoration is long.

Twenty years ago, we stood on the shores of Lake Volta and encountered three young boys trapped in child slavery. That moment changed the course of our lives.

What began as a rescue mission has grown into a long-term commitment to rescue, redeem, and restore identities.

Rescue may happen in a moment.

Healing, education, and trust take years.

Identity is rebuilt slowly.

That is why we created Partners in Freedom.

Partners in Freedom is a community of monthly partners who choose to walk with us steadily. It is not about reacting to a crisis, but about sustaining a calling.

It helps ensure children at the CORM Children’s Village sleep in safe beds and receive consistent care.

It supports students at Faith Roots International Academy as they learn, grow, and discover who they are.

It strengthens our Mission Outreach efforts and enables rescue when children are identified on Lake Volta.

Over the past two decades, more than 150 children have been served through City of Refuge Ministries. Many are now thriving young adults. Some have become leaders within our own community.
