About City of Refuge Empowerment (CORE):

At CORM., we are committed to empowering single mothers through a comprehensive three-year program designed to provide stability, vocational skills, and personal growth. Participants and their children receive full support, including housing, meals, and essential care, while they undergo specialized training in fashion design and sewing to develop sustainable career opportunities.

Beyond vocational training, the program takes a holistic approach to well-being, equipping women with essential life skills in self-esteem, health, family care, financial literacy, and leadership. An adult education program is available for those needing literacy support to ensure they gain foundational academic skills.

Each woman benefits from one-on-one mentoring and faith-based education, fostering personal growth and spiritual resilience rooted in Christian values. Through this comprehensive, transformative program,CORE equips at-risk women with the tools they need to build self-sufficient futures for themselves and their children—breaking the cycle of poverty and human trafficking at its source.
